In the western Frontier Gal - aka The Bride Wasn't Willing - there is a scene where Rod Cameron finally takes Yvonne de Carlo over his knees and spanks her long and hard, and that's how they and their little daughter find out that he really loves her and she him. So the idea that Phil spanks Linda here because he loves her is not so absurd, and personally I would never spank a woman I did not care for. And deep down most women realize that, and that's probably the reason why spanking is an acceptable kind of violence - but not for children.

DeleteI have seen Frontier Gal so I know exactly to what you're referring. I also agree with you, I would never spank a woman I didn't love either. I've said many times that I don't really do spanking toons, I do romantic stories that feature spankings in them. In my mind, giving your girl a good spanking is the ultimate way to tell her you love her. I also agree that most women realize this, or at least they did back in my day. Thanks, Phil
