She's backing away and wanting to keep some distance between her and Walter.......LOL. She's also making some frantic suggestions, trying to distract him. Your idea about recognizing that she would rather have this confrontation happen in private is a logical one but apparently, in her panic, her logic isn't working too well......LOL. Hi Phil, I had been waiting to see what would happen in today's toon. I agree with Minelle. If I were Xandra, I would try to get out of there as well. I think Barb is very self-righteous. She is not even trying to hide the fact that she is recording the incident. I hope she gets in trouble for that. Her friend seems kind of snooty as well. I hope both of them are unable to sit down for a week. I think Xandra is going to find a way to get back at Barb for telling on her. Xandra will find something that Barb is hiding from her boyfriend and when that happens it will be nice to see Barb get a bare bottom spanking. As for the girl with the dark hair, I was curious as to why she had been spanked. She seems like she may be more inclined to be sympathetic since she was just spanked. Maybe she also does not think much of Barb and would help Xandra with getting Barb in trouble. I can't wait to see how this plays out! Thanks, Jennifer

I love Xandra’s nervous giggles and the expression on her face. If I had just tooned in, I would be wondering what someone with such an angelic face could have done to get Walt so riled up, not realizing that beneath her innocent facade lurks a conniving, devious and duplicitous little brat.
It’s going to be interesting to see how the crowd reacts if Xandra tries to leave. I have a feeling the other women will block every exit, with the exception of the one that lands her over Walt’s knee.
I have to take exception to the commenters who think Barb should be spanked for ratting out Xandra. Don’t get me wrong, I think Barb may well deserve a spanking, not because she told Walt about what Xandra did, but for the way she went about it. Barb saw someone setting out to deliberately hurt her friend, and she felt she had to do something about it. I can’t fault her for that. Let’s not forget, Xandra behaved very badly and has earned every swat Walt is going to apply to her bottom. As far as I’m concerned, she may be upset that Barb told on her, but she has no one but herself to blame for the spanking Walt’s going to give her.
That said, I think Barb should have just informed Walt about what Xandra did and then let him decide how to handle it, but instead, her desire, from the moment she heard what Xandra was doing, was to not only tell Walt what Xandra had done, but to find a way to get Walt to spank her for it. I think that was underhanded and manipulative, and for that, I hope we get to see Phil (interesting name choice) give her a sound spanking.

I think you do a great job of capturing the personalities and expressions of your characters, and the way they interact with each other. Being a writer, myself, I know how much time, effort and hard work goes into forming a narrative, creating characters and writing dialogue, not to mention the artwork — I can only imagine what goes into that. I enjoy and follow your toons because I think you do get it right.
I love your comment about being able to see yourself spanking Barb in this situation. I’m guessing your male readers have the same thought — I know I do. As a matter of fact, I could see myself spanking any one of the women in your toon. I’m sure that each one of them is guilty of something that warrants a spanking — after all, what woman isn’t. But then again, a gentleman with spanking on his mind can twist just about anything a woman says or does into a reason to put her over his knee and warm her bottom.

I was a newspaper reporter and editor for many years. I write poetry and short stories, and am working on a novel. I love coming up with spanking scenarios (as you might have guessed from my speculations), and I have a lot of spanking stories in my head, but I haven't written them down. It's something I've thought about and might do in the future. I'll let you know if I do.
